Week 1

 

A	A snail tries to climb out of a well 10m deep.  It climbs 60cm in 1 hour, but for
	every 1m that it climbs it falls back 5% of the total height climbed.  Approximately how long will it take for the snail to climb out of the well?

B	Replace the letters with numbers to make this sum work

C	An 'equable shape' is defined as a shape for which the numerical value of its
	area is equal to the numerical value of its perimeter.  Investigate for
	different shapes.
