Visiting Malsis

Prospective parents may either come for an individual visit or attend one of our Open Days which are held on a Saturday morning three times in each academic year, in February, May and October.  The date of the next open morning is Saturday 11th October 2008.

Parents attending Open Morning will receive an individual a tour of the school, guided by our Year 8 pupils, giving the opportunity to see the children and staff in action.

Over coffee and biscuits in the Library afterwards you can have an informal chat with the Headmaster and some current Malsis parents.

Those for whom an individual visit is preferred or is more convenient, will be warmly welcomed to the school.  An individual tour of the school, including a chance to meet with some senior pupils, is followed by coffee with the Headmaster and a chance for a more detailed discussion.

The Next step

Following your meeting with the Headmaster, the next step is to arrange a ‘Taster Day’ for your son or daughter, during which they will spend a full day with us, joining the appropriate Year Group for lessons and for games.  For boarding children, the taster includes one or two overnight stays, by arrangement.  During the Taster Day children will have an informal interview with the Headmaster.

Registration

When parents register their son or daughter, they will be asked to pay a non-returnable deposit of £50.00.  The term before joining Malsis, they will be asked to pay a £500 deposit (refunded at the end of final term).  When signing the registration form, parents should read carefully the terms and conditions on the reverse.
