Our Fees

Boarders:

 

£6,250 per term

Day Pupils:

Years 3 to 8
8.30am – 8.00pm

£4,800 per term
(Including lunch and supper before evening clubs)

 

Foundation to Year 2
8.30am – 3.30pm

£2,700 per term
(Including lunch)

Children in Foundation are eligible for the Government’s Nursery Voucher Scheme for children aged 3-4. The amount of the vouchers applicable is credited to your termly account.

Fees at Malsis include all tuition, meals, books and many activities. To pack everything that Malsis offers in, the normal school day for children in Years 3 to 8 finishes at 6.15pm, with an option for Year 3 and 4 to finish a little bit earlier.

The school day for children in the Lower School (Foundation to Year 2) finishes at 3.30pm. Our after school club for Lower School children is open from 3.30pm to 6.00pm, Monday to Friday and it situated in Campion House in the school grounds. Children have an opportunity to play and relax, and those staying after 4.00pm are given a cooked tea. With drop-off available from 8.20am, Malsis Lower School is able to provide wrap around care for busy working parents.

We offer evening activities, open to day children and boarders, on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. For most of these there is no extra charge, and children can stay for supper (again at no extra charge) before their chosen activity. Pick-up time after activities is 8.00pm. On Wednesday we have a ‘boarders only’ special evening.

Fees do not include entry for external examinations (e.g. Common Entrance, Music Examinations), clothing, a pupil’s personal expenses or optional extras. There are no compulsory extras.

There is a charge for music lessons, instrument hire and some activities like riding, sailing, skiing, scuba diving, professional tennis coaching, judo, professional golf coaching. Parents are always informed of the cost in advance and consent requested for children to participate in chargeable activities.

Scholarships and Bursaries

Malsis offers financial assistance, in the form of a small number of means-tested Scholarships and Bursaries, to exceptionally gifted and talented children, academically and otherwise. These are awarded following assessment at Malsis and are at the discretion of the Headmaster.

Malsis offers the following Bursaries: Armed Forces, Children of Clergy, and Children of teachers in independent schools. We also offer sibling discounts.
